Sports Superstars
We have had a very sporty start to the new school year this September!
Bayside SNS Athletics Team were invited by Clongriffin AC to a local inter schools event in Donaghmede Park on Friday, 19th September. A total of 48 students represented our school in our black and red running vests. We had great successes with plenty of individual medals won and we won six out of eight team medals. 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏅 We also received a trophy for TOP SCHOOL at the event! The Athletics Team also took part in the North Central Dublin Primary Schools Cross Country Race Series on 25th September. The event took place in St Anne's Park, Raheny.
Our senior basketball teams have been entered into the Dublin Primary Basketball League. Matches will be played between now and mid-term break. Also, huge thanks to Trevor Ecock who sponsored our lovely new basketball kit for this school year. Our girls’ and boys’ football teams have gotten off to a great start in their respective leagues. We really appreciate the teachers who volunteer to coach and support the teams each week.
